NK Theraphy

Your immune system is made up of T cells and B cells including a specific cell type called natural killer cells or NK cells. The function of an NK Cell is to identify proteins expressed on the outside of the cell when the cell is no longer healthy, and remove it.

80mL of blood is drawn from the patient, and the NK cells are isolated. The typical NK population found In 80 mL of blood, is 5M to 10M healthy NK cells. Using proprietary culture media, over the course of 21 days, those cells can be grown to roughly 2 Billion NK cells. When intravenously infused back into the patient’s body, the NK Cells look for unhealthy cells including senescent cells, cancerous cells and tumor cells, and remove them.
